The firm was retained to assist a contractor sued arising from a construction project at the Huntsville, Alabama airport. The client counterclaimed. On March 3, 2016, the Court entered a partial summary judgment in favor of the client for $415,843.30 plus 8% interest from September 15, 2012, with a final hearing set to determine the client’s recovery of attorney’s fees and additional delay costs of $134,000. The Court dismissed plaintiff’s complaint with prejudice. Pending the final hearing to assess further damages and attorney’s fees, the case was settled.
