Wrongful Foreclosure Claim Pursued

The firm was retained to represent an individual whose husband had a loan with a large bank before his death. The bank promised to modify the note to include his wife as a borrower and agreed to a loan modification with a reduced interest rate. Subsequently, the bank refused to modify the loan and pursued a wrongful foreclosure action against the wife. The firm stopped the impending foreclosure sale and is continuing to represent the wife against the lender.
